Job Description

Looking for a new challenge

Join our multidisciplinary team as a Health Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

In this rewarding role youll have the opportunity to develop and expand your clinical skills while caring for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

As a valued member of our team youll work both in the hospice and out in the communityincluding in family homeshelping to deliver compassionate high-quality care.

You will have a Level 2 qualification in a care related subject or a willingness to complete and experience of working with children and young people with complex medical needs. You will need to have excellent communication skills with the capability to interact with teams and families at all levels with the ability to work in collaboration with other professionals.

This role requires a flexible approach to working and will be led by the needs of the case load. There will also be potential opportunities to work in the community as the Demelza Care at Home service expands. Shifts will include rotation onto days nights weekends and public holidays for which additional enhancement payments will be made.
