SEN Teaching Assistant Enfield September 2025 Start

  • Adapting classroom resources and activities to meet individual needs
  • Engaging with wider school activities and contributing to the whole-school ethos

SEN Teaching Assistant What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and compassionate graduate ideally with a 2:1 or First Class degree from a top 30 UK university. A background in psychology education or related fields is desirable. Prior child-centred experiencewhether in schools tutoring mentoring or care workis highly valued. Strong communication resilience and a genuine interest in working with neurodiverse young people are essential.

SEN Teaching Assistant Salary and Contract Info

  • 480520 per week pro rata to term time only
  • Full-time long-term contract from September 2025 to July 2026
  • Term-time only (Monday to Friday)
  • Potential for future teacher training or permanent contract following a successful year
