About the role
The Revenue Department is responsible for Patient Health Fund Eligibility confirmations; Patient Estimates; Processing all Hospital Patient Claims in accordance with Health Fund Contractual Agreements; Receipting of Payments from Funds and Patients; Collection of Outstanding Debt from both Patients and Health Funds; Liaise with Patients Doctors Surgeries and other internal stakeholders as required. Processing of sundry revenue and fundraising and donations management
About you
- Previous experience within a Patient Accounts/Materials Management Environment
- Assist to facilitate a single service point of accountability within Procedural Services environment
- Knowledge of private health insurance industry (highly desired)
- Working knowledge of Medicare rules
- Experience and skills using a recognised Financial Management Information System in a large organisation and advanced knowledge of Microsoft products like Excel/Word.
