Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center ensuring compliance with all OEC/NAEYC/AQIS regulations.
- Develop and implement curriculum and programs that promote the physical cognitive social and emotional development of children.
- Hire train and supervise staff fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents providing open communication and support.
- Collaborate with Foundation Executive Staff to manage budgets marketing and enrollment ensuring the financial stability and growth of the center.
- Education: BA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in as a director in a childcare setting
- Certifications: CDPD and CDA
- Skills: Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills. Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. Business acumen and familiarity with licensing requirements and health and safety regulations.
- Qualities: Passionate about child development emotionally intelligent and adept at building relationships.
