Job Description
Are you a hands-on accounting expert ready to take full ownership as the sole financial professional for an exciting company that provides fiduciary and ESOP Trustee services Our client VENTURA TRUST is offering a full remote CONTROLLER opportunity where you will independently manage the entire accounting function - from maintaining the general ledger and processing payroll to preparing monthly reports and establishing robust financial controls. Responsibilities
This position is responsible for recording maintaining and reporting every detail of the financial performance and serving as the primary architect for the budget regulatory compliance and financial strategy. In this role you will also be responsible for presenting the financials at board meetings managing relationships with external vendors and professional service providers and overseeing the companys benefits offerings to ensure they are competitive and compliant.
Qualifications
Qualifications include bachelors degree in accounting or finance and at least 5 years of direct senior-level financial reporting experience with CPA licensure preferred. A strong understanding of financial reports and analysis along with budgets is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate is a self-starter possesses excellent attention to detail and has the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to this position. Proficiency in QuickBooks Excel Salesforce and ShareFile are preferred. A proven ability to work successfully while remotely is essential.
Salary Range: $125000 - $150000 (depending on experience)
