Job Description

Therapeutic Services Agency Inc. (TSA) has been providing mental health expertise and evidenced based practices in the spirit of innovation and excellence since 1978. TSA added the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind Program 8 years ago to provide culturally affirmative and language specific services to address the mental health needs of children who are deaf deafblind or hard of hearing. We are looking for a full-time mental health therapist with excellent verbal skills and a willingness to increase their knowledge and ability to work with children in this low-incidence group.

Responsibilities include providing an array of mental health services to our clients such as diagnostic assessments treatment planning individual therapy family therapy individual skills and family skills. This position is also responsible for promoting and marketing the program; and for providing presentations to community groups at professional conferences and to school staff about the benefits of culturally affirmative language specific mental health services to children who are deaf/hard of hearing or deafblind. This is a hybrid position.
