Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION
The primary responsibility of this position is to perform general plant janitorial duties. Responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Perform daily general plant janitorial duties.
Gather and empty trash thru out facility daily.
Gathering recyclable materials from facility and preparation for pickup of external vendors.
Monitor and service facility restrooms of needed supplies daily.
Operation of trash compactor;
Monitor outside grounds for litter empty trash cans.
Enhanced cleaning procedures which include:
- Mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning surfaces with disinfectant
- Cleaning and disinfecting breakrooms conference rooms chairs
- Disinfecting coffee stations vending machines timeclocks and all high touch surfaces daily.
Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
Must be able to use machinery in relation to various cleaning methods thru out warehouse.
Break down cardboard and separate for recycling.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience or training.
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Work well independently
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
Handle basic cleaning and other janitorial work.
Basic math skills.
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
Able to use basic cleaning equipment such as sweepers throughout the facility.
Able to read understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to operate forklift duties and be able to become Nilfisk certified.

Pay Range $17.50-$23.33 per hour.The estimated range indicates the expected hourly pay for this position. It does not include potential bonus incentives such annual or performance bonus as well as sales and sales related incentives or overtime. The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors including the applicants qualifications relevant experience unique skills education level certifications or licenses differentials and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the jobs location. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
