We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team on a flexible part-time basis to work 21 hours per week over 3 days. Youll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel is always presented at its best from guest bedrooms and public areas to back-of-house spaces.
What youll be doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel including bedrooms meeting rooms spa restaurant and staff areas.
- Responding to guest and team member requests with professionalism and urgency ensuring minimal disruption and maximum satisfaction.
- Communicating with other departments to coordinate maintenance works and avoid impacting the guest experience.
- Taking pride in the hotels appearance and ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Supporting the wider team with any reasonable requests and contributing to a positive can-do culture.
In addition to your core responsibilities there is also scope for additional hours working as a Luggage Porter and Housekeeping Porter ideal for someone looking for variety and extra earning potential.
Who you are:
- A practical hands-on individual with good general knowledge of maintenance including plumbing electrics carpentry and general repairs.
- A great communicator with clear spoken English and a smart professional appearance.
- Able to prioritise tasks meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible reliable and always willing to help whether its a guest a colleague or a last-minute request.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is a plus but not essential.
