Education/Certification
Bachelorsdegree incommunicative science and disorders
Texas license as a speech-language pathologist assistant
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong communicationorganizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions
Experience:
Fifty hours ofclinical pbservation and assistng experience as required for licensure
1. Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturnity level and interest of students.
2. Establish control and administer discipline according to the Student Code of COnduct and student handbook.
Program Management
1. Complie maintain and file all reports records and other documents required including maintaining clinical records in accordance with federal and state laws and requlations.
2. Comply with policies established by federal and state laws State Board of Education rule and board policy. Complty with all district and campus routines and requlations.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress; high stress fast-paced. Work with frequent
interruptions. Occasionaldistrict wide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
