As a Client & Reporting Analytics Associate you will play an integral role within the Fixed Income Client Reporting & Portfolio Analytics team based in Chicago supporting the US Investment Grade and Insurance Fixed Income portfolio management teams. This role is responsible for compiling portfolio and market specific materials including institutional client reporting bespoke institutional client exhibits portfolio and product analytics as well as portfolio review materials.
Our team works in close collaboration with Portfolio Management Client Service IT Marketing RFP and Legal teams and you will be involved in a variety of strategic and tactical projects across the asset class spectrum delivering best in class client reporting and analytics.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the firms Investment Grade fixed income strategies to be able to create in-depth and comprehensive client reports and client portfolio review decks
Provide portfolio analysis reporting and presentations for Investment Grade fixed income and insurance portfolios delivering accurate and timely market insights
Collaborate with investment teams and Insurance Analytics on client inquiries client development and RFPs
Serve as a go-to- expert for data inquiries on portfolio exposures and summary statistics and deliver accurate and timely responses
Develop proficiency in key reporting tools; develop report content and partner with IT to drive efficiencies and enhancements to the end-client deliverables
Participate in firm wide initiatives aimed at enhancing client service-related strategies
Key Requirements / Qualifications (essential unless stated)
3 years of experience in asset management or a related industry (with a focus on client reporting in fixed income or portfolio analytics would be preferred)
Bachelors degree in finance Business Science Math preferred
Progress toward advanced certifications such as CFA FRM or CAIA are a plus.
Knowledge of financial markets fixed income in particular interest in investment strategies and security analysis
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience building presentations including graphic and data slides
Experience working with Blackrock Aladdin Clearwater and Bloomberg is preferred
Experience in the development and construction of formula-driven spreadsheets pivot tables and macros
Analytical and comfortable working with and interpreting statistics and fixed income portfolio and market data
Excellent attention to detail and accountability strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic deadline-driven environment
Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts incorporate edits based on instructions from investment sales and legal teams
Highly motivated team-player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $80000-$100000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location business sector performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics market benchmarking data any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus which along with base salary and retirement contributions is part of our total comprehensive package.
