Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with experience in guiding children developing curriculum and teaching social/emotional and self-help skills. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe engaging and educational environment that meets the needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan implement and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social emotional cognitive and physical development.
Guide and support children in developing self-help skills such as dressing feeding and personal hygiene.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interactions and emotional growth.
Monitor and assess each childs progress providing individualized support and adapting teaching methods as needed.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers providing regular updates on their childs progress and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a clean safe and organized classroom environment.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
Attend staff meetings professional development sessions and other required training.
Adhere to all licensing regulations health and safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications: EEC certified teachers preferred or assistant teachers with multiple years of experience.
Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children in a daycare preschool or similar setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Patience creativity and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
