40Summary:
The Clinical Nutritionist provides nutritional assessment and treatment to patients requiring nutrition therapy within the Genetics Department. This position works in close collaboration with the providers to provide nutrition intervention and education based on the clinical assessment goals preferences learning barriers and readiness of the patient and their family in support of the overall plan of care. The Clinical Nutritionist possesses knowledge and understanding of both typical and atypical pediatric growth and development.
Education and Experience
Registered dietitian with Bachelors of Science from an accredited college or university
0-2 years of related experience
Licensure Registration and/or Certification
Current license to practice as a licensed/registered Dietitian by the State of Texas
Current registration with the Commission of Dietetic Registration required
Current BLS certification
