Job Description Summary
The Generator Component COE (Center of Excellence) Leader will be responsible to lead direct and plan manufacturing operations including providing leadership to a salaried manufacturing leadership team to reach defined targets in safety quality delivery and cost (SQDC) while building on a culture of inclusion and respect for people and continuous improvement.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of multiple manufacturing cell leaders and their teams including production supervisors who oversee hourly employees
- Develop coach and motivate the team to achieve optimum day-to-day operations including well-functioning disciplined daily management and problem solving
- Collaborate with manufacturing leader peers and the broader manufacturing team to deliver on-time to our customers and achieve SQDC KPIs and outcomes
- Drive strong collaboration with engineering and other cross functional support teams
- Execute Lean Roadmap deliverables and set strategic goals within the CoE
- Drive full implementation of Life Saving Rules and Built-in-Quality into daily operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations leadership OR High School/GED plus 10 years manufacturing operations leadership.
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university

- Leads with a Lean mindset and is skilled at applying Lean tools to improve processes
- Demonstrated record of success in leading manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of Generator products
- Demonstrated ability in leading and fostering positive employee and labor/union relations
- Strong problem solving analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively influence motivate and coach others
- Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is$144000-$185000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety offactors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for a15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
