Position Summary:
As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) at Thermo Fisher Scientific you will be accountable for the installation maintenance and servicing of our systems and instruments in customers laboratories. This field-based role primarily supports customers in South Poland with occasional assignments in other regions or European countries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide services within the framework of internal guidelines and customer processes.
- Deliver diagnostics installation including basic customer training preventative maintenance (PM) repair services verification and qualification services expertly and timely.
- Document quality assurance measures including IQOQ OQPQ CSV etc.
- Offer telephone support and failure analysis to optimize the use of Thermo Fisher Scientific equipment.
- Independently plan and coordinate work processes in collaboration with various internal and external contacts.
- Prepare regular reports on activities such as service reports installation reports and expense reports.
- Undertake special interpersonal tasks (e.g. PM Coordinator Calibration SPOC).
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Completed technical or scientific vocational training preferably in electrical or medical technology or a comparable qualification.
- A degree as a state-certified technician or engineer is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve personal and team goals.
- Positive demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills in Polish with a good command of English.
- Strong digital skills are critical.
- High willingness to travel and work from a home office.
- Valid driving license.
