How youll be contributing to Accurx as our Head of Design..
At Accurx we believe great design can transform healthcare. Our tools enable healthcare professionals to deliver better care helping over 60 million patients so far. Trusted by 98% of GP practices and 70% of NHS Trusts weve built a reputation for making complex systems feel simple intuitive and human. Now were looking for a Head of Design who shares our passion for outcomes and wants to create a lasting impact.
As Head of Design your role is to drive the creation of a world-class experience for healthcare professionals and patients with the most diverse set of needs in the world - literally everyone is a patient at some point in their life. You will lead a team of 15 designers split across 3 product pods and a Systems & Content team reporting into the Chief Product Officer.

Simplify complexity: Healthcare has some of the hardest and we believe most important product and design problems in software today - translating healthcares unique systems into a product that feels effortless to use.
Creating a culture of excellence: We care about every element of a users journey every choice of pattern every pixel of our components and every word of copy
Champion users needs: Work closely with User Research to deeply understand healthcare professionals and patients turning their challenges into an elegant coherent design language and user-centered solutions.
Lead and grow a world-class team: We have a passionate team of talented designers; nurturing them and growing the team as Accurx grows is crucial to delivering the best user experience in the industry.
Refine how we work: Just enough process to support creative exploration while ensuring a high bar for quality and collaboration.

Youre an experienced manager and manager-of-managers with a proven track record in fostering a culture of excellence
Youve established a multi-disciplinary team across product design design systems and content
Youve solved new design problems and have experience untangling complexity and creating simplicity for users in high-stakes collaborative environments.
Youve demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration with product engineering and research all the way from individual contributors to executive leadership.
