Junior High Teacher
Holy Family School located in Grimshaw Alberta requires a Full-Time Temporary Junior High Teacher starting August 26 2025- March 1st 2026.
Course assignment may include Grades 4-9 Physical Education Health/Wellness Grade 7 Science and for the right candidate the potential to teach our Hockey Academy on the ice 4 hours every week.
The successful candidate ideally will have training knowledge and experience in elementary/secondary education an understanding of assessment for learning and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Assets would include knowledge and understanding of inclusive education and First Nation Mtis and Inuit students.
The candidate will be required to support students who require individualized programs enrichment modifications and/or accommodations to their learning and have proficiency in the use of educational technology. The candidate must be willing to live in a rural Catholic community environment be a team player and be willing to collaborate communicate and work with colleagues. Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
