The Laboratory Support Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of multiple laboratory environments. The role is essential in maintaining equipment supporting quality assurance processes and facilitating cross-team collaboration to uphold high standards of lab efficiency and safety.
The position reports to the Workplace Manager and is part of the Workplace (FHS) team located in Eugene Oregon and will be an on-site role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Inspect maintain operate and calibrate laboratory equipment including pH meters water baths freezers autoclaves dishwashers and other essential instruments to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and manage laboratory stock levels
Collect and properly dispose of laboratory waste
The essential requirements of the job include:
HS degree or equivalent
Experience working in a fast-paced environment. E.g. lab kitchen manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to follow a detailed procedure.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Bachelors degree in a science field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Previous lab experience

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $38-46K/year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
