Job Description
We are seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Cambridge MA 02138.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Tuesdays 6am-6pm Saturdays 7a-730p and Sundays 7a-730p
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $2592 - $2772
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI exams using GE and Philips MRI systems.
- Position patients correctly and ensure appropriate coil placement.
- Screen patients for safety and contraindications to MRI procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete all documentation in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to patient needs.
- Practice radiation safety and adhere to infection control policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and exam rooms.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize imaging outcomes.
Requirements:
Education:
-
Associate s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required).
Experience:
- 3-5 years of MRI experience preferred Philips MR experience ED/inpatient/vented patient MRI scans.
Licensure/Certification:
-
ARRT(MR & R) Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (required).
