Job Description
Role: Pricing Analyst (Streetsense)
Reporting To: Consultant (Streetsense)
Location: Pune Maharashtra
General Description:
The Pricing Analyst role at Quesrow aligns with our mission by gathering and analyzing data conducting deep-dive research and delivering tailored high-impact reports on steel and related products. This ensures our clients gain actionable insights market transparency and strategic intelligence to navigate the evolving metals landscape effectively.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Data Detective: Collect all the info you can from phone interviews to field visits and chats based on what each assignment needs.
- Research Guru: Use both primary and secondary sources (think qualitative and quantitative) to get the full picture.
- Data Wrangler: Collate and consolidate the data so that it tells a clear story about market trends pricing (With supporting documents) across the value chain (retail trade mill projects/OEMs) inventory capacity production development global market trend and more. Assess the impact of geopolitical events regulations and environmental policies on commodity prices.
- Analyze supply and demand dynamics production costs trade flows etc. Keep maintain and update statistical data.
- Trend Spotter: Keep an eye on industry trends and make sure theyre reflected accurately in our reports.
- Quality Control Champ: Validate and cross-check every bit of information to maintain high data accuracy.
- Report Collaborator: Work with the Consultant to prepare and deliver top-notch reports on time.
- Innovation Advocate: Develop new research techniques and even train new team members on best practices.
What Were Looking For:
- Academic Achiever: A self-motivated go-getter with a B.E./ or an MBA from a reputed institute with 3-5 years in market research or a related field
- Team Player: Someone who s got the skills to work well in a team and knows the ins and outs of research and consulting projects.
- Networking Pro: You should have a knack for connecting with industry stakeholders and sourcing the latest trends.
- Analytical & Creative: Strong analytical skills paired with an out-of-the-box mindset to deliver unique solutions.
- Top-Notch Communicator: Excellent communication skills to craft high-quality reports.
Extra Details:
- Location & Travel: Be ready to relocate to Pune and hit the road frequently as this role involves a lot of travel.
