Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Payroll to manage payroll operations ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll processing taxation and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
- Manage payroll operations for On-roll and Contract employees
- Ensure accurate and timely salary payments
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll-related matters
2. Benefits Administration:
- Manage Mediclaim and other employee benefits
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
3. Taxation and Compliance:
- Manage income tax compliance for employees
- Ensure compliance with SAP ESIC and other statutory requirements
4. Salary Compliances:
- Ensure compliance with salary-related laws and regulations
- Manage salary revisions promotions and transfers
5. Full and Final (F&F) Settlement:
- Manage F&F settlement for exiting employees
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
6. Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare payroll-related reports and analytics
- Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making
7. Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement in payroll operations
- Implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
Skills and requirements:
- Relevant experience in payroll management
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations including ESIC and income tax
- Experience with payroll software and systems & SAP
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills & Excel Knowledge
