Job Description
- Utilize technical experience and scientific knowledge for packaging design and development of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
- Collaborate with team members to solve packaging problems using the scientific method and appropriate experimental designs.
- Work closely with formulators analysts and manufacturing colleagues to ensure successful commercial scale-up and launch of products.
- Provide expertise to other engineers on development plans experiments component sourcing and regulatory filings.
- Author development reports and packaging-related sections of regulatory submission documents.
- Lead initiatives to develop best practices test methods and work processes to drive efficiencies in packaging development.
- Recommend and implement new packaging and dosing device technologies to support global R&D goals.
- A BS/MS degree in Packaging Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience in packaging preferable in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of material manufacturing and converting product/packaging interaction barrier properties stability modeling and global pharmaceutical packaging regulations.
