Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cyber Security or IT fields and will be adept at driving growth through sales via channel partners direct outbound efforts and leveraging existing networks. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence particularly within Scotland s Central Belt while contributing to our sustainable business growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth through multiple channels including outbound efforts channel partnerships and professional networks.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cyber security market focusing on organizations in the Central Belt and other key regions.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with channel partners network contacts and direct clients.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process including prospecting lead qualification contract negotiations and closing deals.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting reporting and pipeline management using
  • CRM tools to ensure visibility and information flow.
  • Work collaboratively with the technical team to align client needs with tailored cyber security solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends technologies and developments in the cyber security and IT sectors.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Represent TechForce at networking events conferences and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine growth-oriented business strategies tailored to the Central Belt and wider UK market.
  • Utilise data-driven decision-making to optimise sales performance and achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of TechForce s product and service portfolio to communicate value to prospects effectively and partners.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in business development sales or account management ideally within the Cyber Security or IT sectors with a focus on consultancy advisory services managed services or channel/reseller sales.
  • Proven ability to drive new sales growth through outbound efforts channel partnerships and leveraging professional networks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with partners and clients.
  • A Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and deliver rapid business growth.
  • Solid understanding of the cyber security market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients partners and prospects.
