We are supporting a leading EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) company in sourcing a strategic and resourceful Liaison Officer to strengthen their regulatory governmental and client-facing engagements in Abuja. This role is pivotal in driving compliance market intelligence and business development through stakeholder management and regulatory coordination.
What You Will Do
Strategic Liaison & Government Relations
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key government agencies including NCDMB NUPRC NUIMS the National Assembly and other parastatals.
- Monitor and interpret government/industry policy shifts and ensure the company is fully aligned with regulatory requirements.
Business Intelligence & Opportunity Tracking
- Leverage insider knowledge and networks to track upcoming tenders and project opportunities.
- Collect and analyze intelligence on competitor activities and market trends to inform company positioning and strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Nigerian Content Development
- Manage Nigerian Content compliance and ensure effective collaboration with regulatory bodies like the NCDMB.
- Represent the company in meetings with policymakers regulators and other stakeholders to promote business interests.
Support to Project & Business Development Teams
- Collaborate with Lagos and Port Harcourt-based teams on tender tracking and bid support.
- Offer insight and strategic recommendations to enhance business development outcomes.

Requirements
Who You Are
- Bachelor s degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in government liaison regulatory affairs or stakeholder engagement within the oil & gas or EPC sectors.

- Strong understanding of onshore and offshore oilfield operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and email applications.
- Strong research planning and intelligence gathering skills.
