Overview of the Role

We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Government Sales / GEM Tender Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in helping Atlanta Systems Pvt. Ltd. expand our government client base through the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal and other government sales channels.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with the GEM portal and managing government tender processes. You will be the key liaison between our company and government departments for bidding on tenders submitting proposals and managing orders from government contracts.

Your role will require a blend of technical understanding administrative efficiency and communication skills to ensure that all government sales processes are handled smoothly compliantly and effectively.


About the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) Portal

The Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal is an online platform launched by the Government of India to facilitate transparent and efficient procurement of goods and services by government departments and organizations. It aims to simplify public procurement promote transparency and ensure timely delivery.

As a GEM Tender Executive you will work extensively on this portal managing product listings tender participation bid submission and post-bid communications. Your efforts will directly impact the company s ability to secure government contracts and expand our presence in the public sector.


Key Responsibilities

1. GEM Portal Management

  • Upload and maintain accurate detailed product listings on the GEM portal in accordance with government guidelines.

  • Ensure product descriptions specifications pricing and images comply with GEM standards and reflect current offerings.

2. Tender Search and Identification

  • Regularly monitor and research government tender portals including GEM to identify relevant tenders matching company products and services.

  • Analyze tender documents to determine eligibility and suitability.

3. Tender Documentation and Submission

  • Prepare comprehensive tender proposals by collecting necessary documentation including technical specifications compliance certificates financial documents and company credentials.

  • Coordinate with internal departments such as sales finance and legal to gather accurate information.

  • Submit tenders and bids on the GEM portal and other government procurement platforms within stipulated deadlines.

4. Bid Follow-up and Communication

  • Track the status of submitted bids and maintain communication with tender issuing authorities.

  • Respond promptly to any queries or clarifications raised by government officials during the evaluation process.

5. Order Processing and Coordination

  • Handle order processing for government contracts won through GEM or other tender platforms.

  • Communicate effectively with government departments for delivery schedules invoicing and after-sales support.

6. Record-Keeping and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of tenders applied for documents submitted bid outcomes and order statuses.

  • Prepare regular reports on tender activities and performance metrics for senior management review.
