No. of Cases:

- Varies from 0 to a few cases per week.

Admissions Required: Yes

Rounding Included: Yes

Support Staff: 7 RNs & 8 Techs

- Call team: 3 RNs 1 Tech

Physicians in Practice: 2 FT ICs on staff.

Duties:

- Will do procedures during the day if no other IC is available. One of the 2 local docs will be out of town from 6/13-7/16.

- All ER-based & Stemi call & availability for consults on unassigned cardiology IPs & other procedures (Interventional calls only; No Gen Cardio)

Beds in the Dept: 4 in Cath Lab

No. of Rooms: 3 Exam rooms 2 Cath Lab

Trauma Level: III

EMR: MediTech

Other Info: Orientation is to be the day before 1st day of call; Time varies dependent upon how much familiarity w/ Meditech.

Temporary Privileges available: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active WV License or IMLC

BLS EMTALA
