As a Senior Financial Advisor youll collaborate closely with Partner Teams and fellow Advisors tackling unique client situations head-on. From investment strategies to retirement planning education savings to tax and estate planning your expertise will make a difference. Essential Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Partner teams and serve as subject matter expert to the firm on all aspects of Family CFO business
- Keep Partner informed on team and client issues
- Lead client meetings including first interviews confidential fact-finding financial action plans implementation meetings and reviews
- Prepare and/or review financial action plans and projections put together by team members
- Facilitate services for client including investment management retirement planning education planning tax and accounting services insurance planning banking and cash management business planning estate planning and philanthropic strategies
- Develop and source new business with prospect and referral pipeline
- Participate in testing new technologies for the firm and apply complex testing skills utilizing financial planning expertise
- Help to lead firm and team in strategic planning discussions and execute vision
- Assist team to enhance training and deliver absorbable reporting to the client
- Teach systems knowledge and efficiency within Moneta University learning management platform
- Collaborate with the Partner to carry out marketing and business development opportunities
- Participate in Moneta Executive Mentorship program as well as provides coaching mentoring and training to team members
- Conduct annual performance appraisals for direct reports
- Assist in interviewing and hiring of team members
- Champion team vision and lead by example
- Travel as necessary to meet with clients
- Commitment to ongoing education to remain an authority in family CFO matters
Qualifications :
- Series 65 required or achievement of license required within 60 days of employment
- B.S. Business or Finance required; MBA or J.D. preferred
- CFP CPA or CFA required
- Ten or more years of relevant experience offering holistic financial planning advise
- Experience within the wealth management registered investment advisory space preferred
