We are seeking a Communications Manager to work in an integrated role across B2B Consumer and Corporate communications for LinkedIn France based in Paris. This role will be a fixed term contract for an 8 months period.
Working closely with the Director of Communications for EMEA Core Markets the international and global Communications teams the successful candidate will develop and deliver communications campaigns aligned to our business objectives to reach our consumer B2B and corporate audiences.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work collaboratively across the business has strong existing relationships across media and has worked with external agency partners. Past experience in creating trusted and professional relationships with senior business stakeholders delivering creative and impactful communications campaigns and working as part of a team is essential. A natural affinity for online networking sites is a plus as is previous experience of working for a global organization or for a PR agency with global clients.
Responsibilities
Activation of B2B (across LinkedIn Talent Solutions and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions) and consumer campaigns that deliver positive business impact
Collaborate with editorial team to deliver high impact stories about editorial lists and breaking news
Partner closely with EMEAL and Global communications teams
Partner closely with marketing locally on integrated campaign development and execution
Managing the FR press office and campaigns including day to day management and point of contact for the PR agency
Manage media issues and crisis communications when required
Engage and build relationships with key journalists in France
Writing briefing documents messaging documents on platform copy and other content
Regional coordination on campaigns best-practice sharing etc.
Manage communications budgets
Reporting and measurement for local regional and global partners
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
5 years of experience in Communications Marketing Operations Advertising Journalism or related experience OR Bachelors Degree in Business Communications Marketing Advertising Journalism or related field AND minimum 2 years of experience in Communications Marketing Operations Advertising Journalism or related experience.
Fluency in French and English written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
Degree qualified or equivalent experience
In-house and/ or agency experience
Experience working with global organisations
Cross team collaboration and stakeholders management
Research and analytical skills; ability to monitor and analyze industry trends
Understanding of business and media environment with strong media relationships
Familiar with social media marketing and influencer relations and how they can help support broader comms strategy
Detail oriented highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks/projects
Thrives in a fast-paced and unstructured deadline-oriented environment easy adaptable
Demonstrates professional maturity positive attitude and has a sense of confidentiality
Excellent writing editing and verbal communications skills
