Job Description
What will you be doing
Were looking for experienced Software Engineers with a strong background in AUTOSAR-based automotive systems to join our team focused on cutting-edge powertrain control software. This is a highly collaborative hands-on engineering role that blends embedded development with vehicle-level testing in a hybrid work environment.
Location: Oxford (Hybrid)
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate under a team lead to develop test and integrate AUTOSAR-compliant embedded software.
- Perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing including hands-on work with HIL rigs and occasional vehicle-level validation.
- Support model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
- Work with powertrain control systems including motors inverters and rotating machinery.
- Apply industry standards such as ISO 26262 in software verification and safety compliance.
- Diagnose issues through in-person rig access and testing activities.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including calibration systems and test engineers.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Mechatronics Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Solid years of experience in embedded automotive software engineering.
- Proven skills in AUTOSAR architecture (Vector MicroSAR preferred).
- Practical knowledge of model-based design tools.
- Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN LIN).
- Experience with Mercedes vehicle platforms is a plus.
- Strong doer mindsetable to take ownership of tasks and deliver under time constraints.
- Willing and able to work onsite regularly for hands-on testing and integration.
