Job Description
Are you an engineer looking to contribute to cutting-edge nuclear energy projects Join ALTEN UK a leading engineering consultancy and play a key role in the development of complex infrastructure solutions. We are looking for talented engineers with expertise in instrumentation electrical systems or industrial quality processes to collaborate with suppliers project teams and technical specialists ensuring high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical point of contact providing expertise in instrumentation electrical systems or engineering processes within nuclear energy projects.
- Work closely with suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical specifications schedules and budgets.
- Conduct technical document reviews ensuring designs and solutions align with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Support the resolution of technical challenges collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Oversee risk assessments contract modifications and issue resolution ensuring smooth project execution.
- Interface with design site operations and regulatory teams ensuring seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Qualifications :
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree (BEng MEng or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Control Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in engineering roles within nuclear energy industrial or highly regulated sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation standards (e.g. RCC-E NFC15-100 BS7671 IEC 60909).
- Familiarity with quality assurance and compliance processes in industrial or energy projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical documentation and supplier coordination.
- Background in instrumentation electrical systems or systems engineering (varied specialisms welcome).
