Job Description

Note:This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Franklin TN office.Note:You must have at least 6 years of construction estimating experience with 2 of those years in healthcare construction and be located in the greater Nashville area. If you do not meet this requirement please do not schedule a call as it will be canceled.

Job Description

  • Lead the entire preconstruction process for healthcare facility projects
  • Develop and present competitive bids budgets and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to shape project strategies
  • Prepare and deliver winning presentations for project interviews
  • Analyze risks and ensure alignment with operational and financial goals
  • Maintain and report accurate cost history and project data
  • Contribute to design review and value engineering efforts
  • Support business development by maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating with 2 of those years in healthcare construction
  • Experience in the Nashville TN market is required
  • Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to read construction documents and prepare accurate quantity takeoffs
  • Strong communication presentation and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of local construction methods and subcontractor market
  • Valid drivers license
