Job Description
- Position: Sr. Information Assurance Lead
- Location: Washington D.C. Germantown MD
- Position Type: Contract

We are hiring for a Sr. Information Assurance Lead to lead the team of SMEs assigned to Information Assurance activities.
- This IA Lead will lead the team of SMEs assigned to Information Assurance activities.
- The Information Assurance Lead provides management support focusing on the Information System Security Officers the Information System Security Manager and the Authorizing Official Designated Representative resource allocation and management.
- Provide a high capability to document organize communicate assess and review internal processes that are subject to federal requirements contractual obligations and external audits.
- This key person should have the ability to ensure that the day-to-day operations are conducted in a manner that supports the Federal stakeholders.
- The Sr. Information Assurance Lead is required to have a professional certification as listed in DoD 8140 such as a CISM or CISSP certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire or contract start.
- Additionally this Lead should have prior experience leading cybersecurity teams preferably Information Assurance teams.
