Job Description

Hanover High School is seeking a flexible organized Learning Specialist who works well in a fast-paced and rigorous educational environment and is comfortable advocating for the hearts minds and voices of students through productive collaboration with all members of the special education team (student parents teachers support staff school administration). A successful candidate will employ a solid range of evidence-based intervention skills facility with technology and creativity to create tailored special education programs for students with educational disabilities. Position starts August 2025 open until filled.

This position is governed by theHEA Union Agreement.

Salary range for this position is $54456 to $111981depending on education and experience.

General Purpose:

The Special Education Teacher will perform the and which are all direct result of a students needs for a Individualized Education Program. The Special Education Teacher will work collaboratively with subject area teachers to assist students in learning appropriate curriculum and skills.

Principal; Director of Special Education

Evaluation will be based on ability and effectiveness in carrying out the responsibilities of the position as defined. Performance will be reviewed by Administrators in cooperation with the Superintendent and in accordance with School Board policy and the SAU 70 District Professional Educator Evaluation Plan.

Contracted 185 days; exempt
