Job Title: Commercial Lines Producer
Location: Mountain Lake NJ
Schedule: Full-time In-Office (5 Days/Week)
Compensation: Flexible Commission Structure Base (Negotiable Based on Commission Preference)
Overview:
A well-established insurance agency in Mountain Lake NJ is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Producer to join its team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven ability to generate new business and build strong client relationships. This role is fully in-office Monday through Friday; however client meetings are the top priority and may override in-office requirements as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new commercial insurance opportunities through networking referrals and outbound sales efforts.
Manage the end-to-end sales process including prospecting needs assessment proposal development and closing.
Maintain and grow a book of business by developing strong ongoing client relationships.
Collaborate with internal account management and underwriting teams to ensure client satisfaction and policy accuracy.
Prioritize client meetings over in-office work when needed; flexibility in scheduling is essential.
Client Base Focus:
The agency currently has a strong presence in real estate contracting and habitational risks but is open to expanding into other commercial sectors based on the producers expertise and ability to close deals.
Compensation:
Commission structure is flexible and can be tailored to fit the producers preferred compensation model.
Base salary is negotiable and dependent on the chosen commission structure.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or a related role.
Active Property & Casualty license in New Jersey (or ability to obtain promptly).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of various commercial insurance markets and products.
