The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
- Experience with logistics management shipping receiving and inventory control.
- Experience in the flooring industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage all day-to-day warehouse operations and personnel.
- Experience assisting customers with purchases and order fulfillment.
- Computer proficiency including MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Plan organize and direct activities and workflow of warehouse operations.
- Manage processing checking verifying and inventorying of shipments received.
- Load and unload materials on/off delivery trucks; receive materials in the warehouse.
- Coordinate daily delivery routes and schedules for a fleet of delivery trucks.
- Ensure inventory is properly labeled rotated and accurately stored.
- Follow established procedures policies safety regulations and codes.
- Lead warehouse team in daily operations.
