Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support the commercial lines account managers in managing client accounts and providing exceptional customer service. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of the commercial insurance department.
Responsibilities
- Assist account managers in processing policy changes endorsements and renewals
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide support
- Prepare insurance proposals and summaries for client presentations
- Assist with the management of policy documents and client records
- Provide administrative support to the commercial lines team as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent client service and retention
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience in a support role within an insurance agency or brokerage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
