Job Description
HVAC Seasonal Instructor
- Licensed HVAC Technician
- Seasonal work from September 2025 through May 2026
- Two days a week following the Keller ISD Odd/Even schedule (M/W or T/Tr).
- 07:30 a.m. to 11:00am; 2 days per week (Approximately 7 hours per week)
- Excluding district holidays testing and other scheduled dates
- Assist the KCAL Instructor in classroom setting with teaching technical HVAC skills
- Supervise HVAC students as they practice hands-on learning experiences
- Serve as a mentor for students; provide HVAC expertise and instruction to individual students
- Provide a safe environment for all students
- Assist in supporting the rules regulations and safety of the facility
- Prevent accidents through the enforcement of policies regulations and ordinances governing the conduct of persons
- Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner
- Complete an incident report for all accidents and injuries
- Enforce and adhere to all rules and regulations
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not acceptable to KCAL Instructor immediately
- Develop and maintain systems for retrieval of information in support of all programs
- Maintain file and secure all physical and computerized reports records and other required documents
- Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive courteous and respectful
- Maintain confidentiality
- Comply and implement all policies operating procedures legal requirements and verbal and written directives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
