Position Summary

We are seeking an associate Product Manger (APM) to strengthen our business development efforts with a focus on Airtomic sealing solutions. The APM will act as the primary point of contact for an assigned customer base ensuring that customer needs are met with continuously delivering value. This business is growing at double digit rates and we are looking for the APM to help us continue this growth rate and grow with the organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of compliant pricing quotes and new business proposals. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through site visits virtual meetings calls and regular correspondence.
  • Create update and deliver marketing materials such as capability presentations
  • Develop a deep understanding of Sargents products and services to effectively support sales efforts.
  • Support the execution of divisional sales plans under the guidance of the Product Manager and/or Product Director.
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships within RBC Airtomic and other RBC divisions.
  • Provide proactive support to sales and business development initiatives to drive strategic goals.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to maximize sales growth and profitability.
  • Communicate monthly business status updates and strategic initiative progress to senior management.
  • Support Product Manager and Product Director in customer contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering Manufacturing Production Control Quality Control and Supply Chain teams to meet customer needs.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and shift priorities as needed to support business needs and critical deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience within all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers domestically and globally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
  • Capable of analyzing and articulating market needs providing direction to multi-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors in related field OR Associates degree in related field plus 4 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to learn new skills through effort and grit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills (Ability to create interpret and modify spreadsheets is critical)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and hold stakeholders accountable without formal authority.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal across all organizational levels.
  • Strong decision-making skills with limited information.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in related discipline.
  • Strong Project management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
