Your role and responsibilities
As key members of the team you will provide high-quality administrative support focused on SEND and inclusion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing office records monitoring group inboxes drafting routine correspondence and answering calls to support communication with families and professionals. You will contribute to the development and improvement of administrative systems share your expertise to enhance team practices and provide guidance and on-the-job training to colleagues. Youll play an active role in team meetings offer cover for team members when needed and ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling confidential information. Working closely with Resolution and Tribunals Officers and wider SEND colleagues you will help ensure the smooth running of operations by managing multiple priorities adapting to urgent tasks and maintaining a clear audit trail for collaborative working
There are 2 posts specifically within the Resolution & Tribunals team working alongside officers processing Appeals and Tribunals for SEND and 1 post in the Central Business Support team for SEND.

The team
The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team works closely with children young people and their families schools and other professionals to assess childrens needs and develop Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
We work alongside Special Education Services SEND Funding and Provider Services and Educational Psychology and Therapeutic Services Social Care and Health and we are all dedicated to helping children and young people achieve their individual outcomes.
The countywide Business Support team are pivotal in supporting the compliance of all statutory processes. The team will also maintain efficient and timely correspondence and communication with young people families and carers and ensuring accurate records.
