Production Operative (Part-Time) Manufacturing
Location: Northampton
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 7:30am 3:30pm - Part-Time
Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)
Are you a hands-on reliable individual with a strong work ethic looking for a part-time opportunity within a modern manufacturing environment We are seeking a Production Operative to join a growing and forward-thinking company involved in the fabrication of precision-formed building components.
Working from a recently refurbished site equipped with advanced machinery the business supports a diverse range of sectors across the UK offering bespoke solutions to both trade and public customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate roll-forming and other metal fabrication machinery in line with production schedules
- Assist in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke sheet materials and associated products
- Conduct quality checks on finished items to ensure compliance with specifications
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Load and unload materials keeping the production area tidy and organised
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any equipment faults or quality issues to the supervisor
- Support packing and preparation of orders for dispatch
The Candidate
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
- Comfortable working with machinery and manual processes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Able to work independently and as part of a small friendly team
- Requires heavy lifting
- Reliable punctual and proactive in approach
- Counterbalance licence desirable - however training will be given.
