Job Description

What You Will Achieve

As a 3rd Shift Team Lead you will oversee the sterile filling organization ensuring safety guidelines cGMPs and SOPs are followed and production schedules are met. You will lead your team to define metrics and strategies for success implement lean management principles and foster a cohesive team environment. Your role includes providing performance feedback coaching and mentoring team members and supporting their development. You will also guide other Drug Product Team Leads and Production Leads aiding in operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the sterile filling organization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines cGMPs and SOPs.
  • Define metrics and strategies to achieve production goals.
  • Implement lean management principles on the shop floor.
  • Coach and mentor team members providing performance feedback and development support.
  • Collaborate with shop floor operators production support Quality Operations Environmental Health and Safety and Maintenance.
  • Share knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Identify and implement process or product improvements.
  • Solve moderately complex problems and assist with issues outside the department.
  • Oversee operational activities to support short-term goals and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting coaching and ongoing assessment.
  • Collaborate with quality production procurement suppliers and forwarding agents to maintain supply continuity and prepare for audits.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associates degree with at least 8 years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in fostering growth within an organization.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements cGMPs and company policies

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Experience in providing technical leadership.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and ongoing work activities.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Experience in fostering both behavioral and technical growth within an organization.
  • Experience in setting objectives and forecasting resource needs.

this is a 3rd shift position. Attending meetings on off shift may be required based on business needs

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102900.00 to $171500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
