Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

This role leads an international market focus access team (Area Access Leads) focused on enhancing connectivity coordination and translation of market and international business priorities into actionable deliverables. Provides a critical interface to amplify country priorities to GAV and vice versa and operate with one-GAV/CAV voice.

Lead enterprise price governance processes and provide pricing risk analytics support to GAV Access Strategy & Pricing organization which includes management of the price governance processes and the global price management system. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of GAV.

This role involves working closely with GAV LT ICO LT and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders internally (within GAV Global Marketing CAV across International International Commercial CSI International Medical Tender & Contracting).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the principal representative for GAV with the International Division serving on the International Division Leadership Team and ensuring collaboration and prioritization of critical initiatives furthering the global access agenda.
  • Provide input and participate in high volume market/ clusters and regional business reviews ensuring that the global teams are informed about market priorities and local teams receive the necessary global support.
  • Coordinate and support the annual OP process for international access in close collaboration with the International Divisions Cross-functional LT and GAV
  • Lead specialized above-brand access team focused on enhancing connectivity coordination and translation of market and international business priorities into actionable deliverables.
  • Serve as a member of the GAV Leadership Team and champion functional initiatives and organizational change leading to the continuous improvement and development of the Value & Access capabilities
  • Partner with the GASP BU Leads on ensuring the Integrated Value & Access Strategy incorporates the above brand insights gathered from the international markets
  • Provide pricing risk analytical support to the Global Access Strategy & Pricing teams in support of the development of Integrated Value & Access Strategy
  • Lead enterprise price governance processes and manage the global price management system
  • Proactively champion best practice sharing across CAV International community and innovative approaches to pricing to raise strategic pricing capability and maintain high-performing (and simplify) operational pricing processes that inform strategic pricing and access decisions
  • Oversee and regularly and improve the functionality of internal pricing analytics platforms databases and reporting systems to execute on price modeling reference pricing impact analysis and business case evaluations
  • Monitor and inform relevant GAV LT and ICO on important pricing regulations (above brand)
  • Foster a Collaborative Culture:Promote a work environment that encourages open communication teamwork and mutual respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and develop and coach others to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • BA/BS Bachelors degree required in a healthcare business science or economics field with at least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Deep understanding of international healthcare access and policy landscape. Understanding the different go-to market commercial models and strategies to drive business impact through access across diverse portfolios and through life cycle management i.e. from POC to LoE.
  • International market access/Commercial Leadership (business and financial acumen analysis to insights strategic thinking matrix leadership and effective communication)
  • Technical expertise (Value proposition development evidence synthesis and generation value assessment (HTA) pricing and reimbursement and Health Policy)
  • Access experience at a local or regional level especially the International Markets
  • Talent strategist and organizational change leader
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at senior levels of the organization (International Presidents Regional and Market Leaders Department leaders and Functional counterparts).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or related advanced degree preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $256100.00 to $426800.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
