Position Summary
Walsh University is a member of NCAA Division II that competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Graduate Assistant-Womens Assistant Rugby Coach (GA) is responsible for assisting the coaching staff in coaching/mentoring student-athletes technically and tactically on the field as well as guiding them through academic achievement and personal development. The assistant coach is also responsible for helping retain student-athletes and the day-to-day practice regimen. The GA Coach reports to Director of Rugby/Head Coach.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Must understand and support the Mission Vision and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae and possess the following:
Education:
Bachelors Degree required. Must be accepted/enrolled in a Walsh University graduate program and remain in good standing in the program
Work Experience:
Experience as a high school or college player coach or other significant experience relative to the sport of rugby and
Skills and abilities:
