Job Description
The Parts Warehouse Representative serves our customers as well as ships and receives products. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational customer service and communication skills to help support our growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fills and prepares orders for shipment and to inventory
- Receives parts and backorder parts
- Track warranty parts for return or scrapping
- Helps manage bin and parts locations to verify inventory records
- Addresses any discrepancies in parts inventory
- Determines the proper mode of transportation for parts shipments
- Ensures workplace and warehouse are free of hazards
- Loads and unloads cargo
- Work collaboratively on a team
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Companys Vision Mission and Values in all interactions with customers co-workers and suppliers
- Adheres to all company policies procedures and safety standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent customer service skills
- 2 years warehouse experience
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in automotive a plus
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Required to move throughout the parts shelves all-day reaching and climbing to obtain parts from inventory
- Stand six to eight hours during a shift
- Must be able to lift up to forty pounds
- Must be able to climb at least two flights of stairs
- Will be exposed to noise dust and exhaust fumes paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Ability to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold and rain
- Ability to kneel bend and/or reach above the shoulders
