About the Role

Were seeking an experienced Developer to lead our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in JavaScript and web development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality scalable and efficient applications.

What You Will Do

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable efficient and reliable front-end architectures.
• Development: Develop and maintain complex applications ensuring high-quality scalability and performance.
• Code Review and Optimization: Perform code reviews optimize code for performance and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior developers providing guidance and training on JavaScript and web development best practices.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest JavaScript and web development trends best practices and technologies.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience: 6-8 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on .
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and web development. Experience with state management libraries (Redux MobX). Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack Rollup). Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest Enzyme). Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Developer.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps Tools: Experience with Docker Kubernetes or Jenkins.
• Experience with Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning libraries (TensorFlow ).

What Makes You Eligible

• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
• This position requires the use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle. As such any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record which will be evaluated and determined in HARMANs sole discretion no more than four (4) active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency) and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.
