Are you an enthusiastic Reading Support Assistant looking to inspire young learners in an Outstanding primary school in Hackney London This role offers the chance to work closely with children supporting their reading development and making a real difference in their education journey.

Reading Support Assistant responsibilities:
- Provide focused reading support to children inside and outside the classroom.
- Lead small-group and 1:1 reading interventions supporting pupils with dyslexia and other SEN.

- Interact with professionals to ensure children receive the best support for their needs.
- Help manage behaviour effectively creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Essential requirements for the Reading Support Assistant role:
- A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK university.
- Previous experience working with children particularly those with SEN is preferred.
- Confidence in teaching children to read and supporting literacy development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with families school staff and third parties.
- A proactive and supportive approach to managing behaviour and engaging pupils.
