The Role:

Were seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our Corporate Accounts division. In this pivotal role youll be responsible for driving national sales performance strengthening key client relationships and leading a high-performing team to deliver strategic growth across our corporate portfolio.

Youll bring a proven track record in managing large accounts negotiating at the executive level and implementing innovative sales strategies that deliver measurable results. The role will require very regular ongoing weekly interstate & international travelling regular and ongoing client entertainment including weekends and ongoing availability to respond 24/7 to business needs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic relationships with corporate companies to maximise corporate account sales and facilitate TMHAs market penetration.
  • Manage and co-ordinate Corporate Accounts to continually deliver unit sales and share of market outcomes.
  • Direct lead and motivate the corporate sales team and measure their performance against agreed objectives.
  • With support by the legal department develop and manage corporate contracts/agreements with customers.
  • Recruit corporate accounts team members and the overall development of the team through personal training plans and mentoring.
  • Lead the team of highest level of Industry sales professionals.
  • Continue to develop the commercial acumen of all Team Members.
  • Strategically work with other department leaders to improve productivity and effectiveness internally and for TMHA corporate customers.
  • Target areas for improvement and innovation that will reduce expenses and lift productivity.
  • Analyse sales and market trends and prepare necessary sales forecasts.
  • Control expenses against budgets and measure effectiveness of the companys promotions and recommending modifications when necessary.
  • Maintain a balanced view between TMHA and the market and ensure strategy and disciplines are in place to deliver TMHA objectives.
  • Promote good relations and maintain contact with customers both internal and external.
  • Complete tenders/ requests for quotation accurately and in line with TMHAs commercial expectations.
  • Be fully conversant with both competitor activity and emerging industry trends and be agile in adapting our strategies to maximise TMHAs growth potential.
  • Prepare accurate special and regular sales reports for the executive team to monitor and analyse sales performance.
  • Provide the marketing department with campaign briefs that will deliver sales and secure brand position.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • At least 15 years experience in B2B sales environment
  • Sales and Account Management B2B management experience is essential
  • Extensive experience in leading and motivating sales teams
  • Strategic long-term vision relevant to multi-dimensional complex business environments
  • Well develop comprehensive business acumen
  • Solid experience within sales and/or service within material handling industry preferred
  • Comprehensive product knowledge and successful field performance in sales of the product
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and motivate a high performing sales team
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong initiative thinking and ability to organise.
  • Ability to utilise creative sales techniques.
  • Strong skills utilising PC packages such as Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
