Description of the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Used Car Manager at Volkswagen of Corpus Christi. As the Used Car Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pre-owned vehicle department.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase used car sales
- Assess and appraise incoming pre-owned vehicles
- Manage inventory and pricing to maximize profitability
- Supervise sales staff and conduct regular training sessions
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience in automotive sales management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Weekly ongoing training of staff in rapport building techniques steps to the sales processes CRM processes follow-ups on unsold sold and service guests phone skill training and instruction enhancing subordinates sales skills
- Fully proficient with title laws and registration process
- Accurately desk deals submits deals to lenders for approval makes credit decisions and effectively closes deals
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of market trends and pricing strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
- Valid drivers license
- Professional personal appearance & excellent communication skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Professional Appearance
- Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen
