Job Description

Scope of work

The associate fitness center coordinator is responsible for providing wellness/fitness center members prospective members and visitors with a warm greeting accurate product and service information and a timely personal response to requests and/or customer service issues. Consistently provides outstanding customer service in a variety of settings and roles including but not limited to the welcome center (check-in cafe pro shop) fitness floor locker rooms and over-all facility presentation. Supports membership enrollment as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Preferred - 6 months of relevant experience customer service in a high-volume service industry

  • Preferred - Demonstrated work experience with cash handling accounting and data entry systems.

  • Preferred - Prior experience and or familiarity with the fitness / wellness industry

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
