Top candidate must be organized and effective in a fast-paced work environment. This position works closely with the Creative Services Director and with Promotion and Production staff to visualize and execute concepts that meet station objectives. This position regularly interacts with news talent and staff community partners sales staff and local businesses.
This is not an entry level position.

Three years of related academic or professional experience. Broadcast or creative marketing agency experience is preferred. College degree is preferred.
- Write direct shoot and edit spots from concept to completion for station promotions on broadcast digital and streaming platforms under guidance and review of CSD
- Coordinate production including working with clients account executives agencies as well as planning location(s) talent music voice-over and reserving any other items (cameras vehicles etc.) for projects
- Mentor promotions producers and motion design editors and review projects along with CSD
- Manage video equipment and software needs
- Collaborate with creative team to produce broadcast and digital videos that are on-brand driving results
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines frequent changes in direction and priority
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills proficient quick turnarounds on all projects with attention to detail and ability to meet all deadlines
- Creative scripting shooting and non-linear editing experience is a must
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics templates animation techniques)
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe CC Suite (Premiere Pro Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Comfortable with color correcting and shooting LOG
- Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras (Canon)
- Strong grasp of framing composition and camera movement (handheld gimbal tripod slider)
- Skilled in 3-point lighting and setups for interviews green screen
- Knowledge of mic placement and audio recording techniques Lavalier shotgun boom mics
- Knowledge of 3D (Cinema 4D/Blender) is a plus
- Ross Xpression experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of fundamental design a strong sense of color typography and composition
- Knowledge of post-production process including media management and encoding video and formats
- Must maintain a valid drivers license and good driving record as some travel may be required for commercial shoots and production meetings with advertisers of the station
- Knowledge of project management software () and collaboration platform () a plus
- Knowledge of trafficking platform (Wide Orbit) for spot programming a plus
- Occasional early morning weekend or evening shifts may be required for event set-up or commercial local show or promotional shoots
- This position is a full-time non-union position.
- $27.55 per hour depending on skill set and experience.
