The Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention (DAJD) is seeking an experiencedHuman Resource professional to join the team as a Human Resource Analyst! This role will support employees as well as advise senior and executive level management on complex human resource issues initiatives and policies as well as manage complex work and leave programs. While the primary focus of the Human Resource Analyst role is leave management responsibilities may also include broader HR tasks as needed such as recruiting employee engagement labor relations and more.

UNIONMEMBERSHIP:This position is represented by Teamsters Local 117 Professional Technical and Administration (P/T/A) bargaining unit.
WORK SCHEDULE:This position will work a 40-hour work week and is overtime eligible(provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act). Standard work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
WORK LOCATION:WORK LOCATION: The work associated with this position will be performed through a hybrid work model that will require both onsite and remote work. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change.
The primary onsite work location for this position is the King County Courthouse at 516 3rd Avenue E 245 Seattle WA 98104. However candidates must be willing and able to report to work at different secured detention facilities in Seattle and Kent.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and when working remotely must maintain a workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
